Cookies, plainly put.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use them sparingly — only to remember your consent choice and, if you allow it, to measure how the site is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use cookies
By default, the only cookie we set is the one that remembers your consent choice. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you click “Accept.” If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics is never loaded.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
ga_consent | First-party · essential | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don’t ask again. | 1 year |
_ga | First-party · analytics (Google) | Set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish visitors. Only set after you accept. | 2 years |
_ga_<id> | First-party · analytics (Google) | Set by Google Analytics 4 to maintain session state. Only set after you accept. | 2 years |
Analytics is provided by Google. For how Google processes this data, see Google’s Privacy Policy and cookie information.
The contact map
Our contact panel embeds a Google Map. Opening it may cause Google to set its own cookies under Google’s policies. The map loads only when you open the contact panel.
Managing your consent
- Decline at any time — clear the
ga_consentcookie and the banner will appear again on your next visit. - Block cookies — most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Doing so will not break this site.
- Withdraw analytics consent — once you clear or reset your choice and decline, Google Analytics is no longer loaded.
